The Telecommunications (Registration of SIM Cards) Regulation (“Regulation”) came into effect on 1st September 2021. Pursuant to the Regulation, prepaid SIM cards that can be used in Hong Kong must complete Real-Name Registration in order to activate or continue the use of telecommunications service from 1 March 2022. Fair use of data
It provides 4G network mobile data service, 50GB in Hong Kong & Macau, 2GB in Mainland. Tethering and Peer-to-Peer services would not be available.
Data validity period
180-Day. The SIM card will be expired on the 180th day at 23:59 Hong Kong time since card activation.
Validity period
The prepaid card is valid for 1 year from the date of purchase. It will be invaild after expiry.
